If you received an error message about a message not able to be sent, attempt sending again and it should now work.
Vrbo has confirmed there is a problem with messaging on their side, and they're working to resolve it.
We're seeing a high error rate from Vrbo's messaging service today, both when sending and receiving messages.
This appears to be an internal service conflict on the Vrbo side and we're awaiting an update from them on the extent of the issue and its resolution.
