Vrbo confirmed that this issue was caused by a bug in an update that was released to Vrbo on Friday, Aug 22. That update was rolled back on Sat, Aug 23. We will continue to monitor but this issue is now considered resolved.

We've confirmed that Vrbo is sending message webhooks to OwnerRez with incorrect credentials. We have alerted Vrbo to this issue and will continue to monitor the problem and look for workarounds.
